I wish Australia would follow suit. The Chinese car market is exploding here and has been for the last 10 years. Local manufacturing died, so we only import cars now. The average Australian tightass has no pride in what they drive, and doesn’t care about where the car came from, or who they’re supporting by purchasing it… they only are about the price. Cheap, cheerful and throw it away after 5-10yrs to buy another one. Another beautiful example of how cheaply made Chinese products have influenced us to create a disposable society.
